Barcelona is a vibrant, modern, youthful Spanish city. It attracts many tourists every year because it offers various opportunities for fun, culture and knowledge of the local culinary tradition.

1) Sagrada Familia The majestic church, symbol of the city, built by the great Antonio Gaudì is absolutely not to be missed. I preferred to see it from the outside, but it is also possible to opt for the tour inside at a cost of 21 euros for people under 30. Advice: Buying attraction tickets online will save you some money and a lot of time by avoiding long lines.

2) Park Güell It is the very famous park that contains sculptures by Gaudì that overlooks the entire city. ntry cost is 10 euros. Advice: - bring your packed lunch and admire the city from the panoramic terrace - half a day is enough to visit it all

3) The Boqueria The Boqueria is the largest covered food market in Barcelona. It is located on La Rambla, the famous 1km long boulevard that connects the historic center of Barcelona to the beach. Advice: - The market is very cheap so it can be considered a real option where to eat. - Note of merit for fresh fruit. Very good!

4) Milà House (La Pedrera) and Batlò House They are two accommodations designed by Gaudì, a UNESCO heritage site. I saw the two buildings from the outside, but it is possible to take the inside tour for a fee.

5) Montjuïc It is a 173-meter promontory located south of Barcelona. It is possible to reach it on foot or with a cable car, at a cost of 13.50 euros round trip. It is absolutely worth it. The view over the city is spectacular. On Mount Montjuïc it is also possible to visit the gardens.

6) Camp Nou For football lovers, a visit to the Barcelona football stadium cannot be missed. It is easily accessible by public transport. It is possible to buy a ticket that includes both the visit to the field and the museum, for 20 euros.

7) Barceloneta

Barceloneta is the famous beach easily accessible from the center of Barcelona. Excellent for a half day of relaxation.

8) Paella I know it is not an attraction, but a visit to Barcelona without tasting the real Spanish paella cannot be considered as such!
