Karpathos is an island located between Crete and Rhodes, in the Aegean Sea. If you are looking for a holiday full of adventures, crystal clear sea and great food, this island is the one for you.
Karpathos can be easily visited in a week. Advice: - Rent a car or a moped on site to get around the island (if you want to reach the north of the island, I recommend renting a car as the area is mountainous) - Bring a diving mask - Bring comfortable shoes - Take a day on a boat to discover the beaches - Bring an umbrella or equipment for the beach because the umbrellas are subject to charges (about 8 euros per day)
Where to stay: There are many accommodations on the island, but most of them are located in the capital, Pigadia.

Do not miss a dinner in Pigadia at Sofia's Place: a restaurant on the seafront that offers delicacies at a very low cost.
Unmissable places: Apella Beach -> The white sand, the light rock, the pines and the clear sea will make you fall in love with this small beach. Also reachable by boat tour from the port of Pigadia (highly recommended !!)

Kyra Panagia -> It is probably the most photographed beach on the island thanks, above all, to the terrace with the red-roofed church. Kyra Panagia is a small cove set among the rocks, characterized by crystal clear water.
Near the beach it is possible to eat fish in a restaurant right on the sea! Great food and wonderful view! Absolutely recommended !!
Amoopi Beach -> Amoopi is a beautiful beach with really fine sand and wonderful colors. It is usually very crowded because it is easily accessible even by families with children. If you want to find a place, I recommend coming early in the morning!
Diakoftis Beach -> Absolutely unmissable, it feels like entering an open-air swimming pool.

Lefkos Beach -> It is a beautiful beach divided into three bays. The second is the most famous because it is characterized by crystal clear water and very fine sand. Truly an indescribable panorama in words!
